According to the Hungarian Attorneys Act the parties shall freely decide the attorney’s fee. Therefore the attorney’s fee always varies depending on the client and the case.

The attorney’s fee can be an hourly rate. In this case the attorney’s fee is based on the breakdown of working hours which sums up the effective spent working hours.

In case of a flat rate agreement the attorney’s fee is a flat fee.

The attorney’s fee will be stipulated based on the value of the transaction, if the parties agree on a percentage rate. This fee model is typically used for real estate transactions, where the attorney’s fee is the stipulated percentage of the purchase price of the real estate.

There are other fee models as well, which can be agreed by the parties.
